Background and AimDelegation is one of the most required skills for managers in order to give authority to their efficient subordinates to carry out different tasks and take responsibility in their absence. The aim of the present study was to find out the attitude of nursing managers about delegation in Karaj social security clinics and hospitals in 2010. Materials and MethodsIn this descriptive and cross-sectional study done in 2010 fifty-four nursing managers were selected through convenience sampling, from three hospitals and four clinics of social security of Karaj, in 2010. Necessary data was collected from self-report. Instruments used includeda demographic questionnaire and an attitude one about delegation.
