The Modern Care Journal is published by Birjand University of Medical Sciences, with "Yektaweb" serving as the platform for its management and publication. Yektaweb is a technical publishing platform and plays no role in scientific or editorial decision-making. Editorial decisions are made independently of organizational, financial, technical, or commercial interests.
The Editor-in-Chief bears ultimate responsibility for editorial decisions and for the scientific and ethical integrity of the published content. While editorial responsibilities may be delegated to other editors, such delegation does not absolve the Editor-in-Chief of overall responsibility.
The journal transparently discloses information regarding its ownership, publisher, editorial leadership team, and editorial board.
The Modern Care Journal does not accept commercial advertisements. Any future advertisements must be clearly distinguished from scientific and editorial content and must not influence editorial decisions.
The journal is committed to the long-term digital preservation of its scientific content and will publicly announce the details once independent preservation and archiving arrangements are finalized. Simple website backups do not constitute a substitute for independent, long-term digital preservation.
The Modern Care Journal also implements necessary safeguards to protect confidential information and unpublished scientific ideas throughout the review and evaluation process. Editors and reviewers must not use information obtained during the review process for personal research, professional gain, or any purpose unrelated to the evaluation of the manuscript.
Copyright and licensing
Modern Care Journal respects copyright, licensing, intellectual property, and the rights of authors and other content creators. The journal's copyright and licensing terms will be stated clearly on the journal website and consistently in the HTML and PDF versions of published articles and in applicable author agreements.
The journal currently operates as an open-access publication and uses the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 (CC BY-NC 4.0) licence, subject to the journal's formally confirmed copyright arrangements. The legally applicable copyright holder and the precise copyright-transfer or licensing arrangement will be stated consistently across the journal's publication materials.
Manuscripts must be original and must not be submitted simultaneously to another journal. Plagiarism, substantial text recycling, duplicate publication, redundant publication, inappropriate republication, and unjustified multiple publications derived from the same dataset are unacceptable.
Preprints and secondary publication must be disclosed and handled in accordance with the journal's applicable policies. Where overlapping publication or substantial duplication is identified, the Editor-in-Chief will determine the appropriate action in accordance with ethical standards.
